Our purpose

A survey is the easy part. Being heard is the point.

Cognitive Education exists because K-12 communities answer survey after survey and rarely see what changes as a result. We built a climate ecosystem that closes that loop, turning honest responses into evidence leaders can act on, and act on quickly.

"K-12 families, students, and staff deserve more than a survey. They deserve to be heard, and to see what their voice moved."
The belief the platform is built on
What we hold to

Four principles, in every decision.

They shape the instruments we write, the schema underneath them, and the dashboards leaders open on board night.

01

Grounded in research

Every item maps to a peer-reviewed domain of school quality: six for families and students, eight more for staff. Nothing is on the instrument because it sounded good in a meeting.

02

FERPA-first, always

Student privacy is an architectural decision, not a settings toggle. No PII beside responses, small-cell suppression by default, and access enforced in the data layer.

03

Equity, not as an afterthought

Disaggregated reporting is built in. Discipline-fairness items are always reportable by race and ethnicity, never hidden behind an aggregate that smooths the truth away.

04

Real-time and actionable

Data that arrives a quarter late changes nothing. Results land as responses do, with AI summaries that make the next decision obvious.
